going to concerts
One of the reasons why I chose to come to USC is because of its prime location within the music industry. Pretty much every
touring artist or band performs somewhere in LA whether it is at the Shrine, Greek Theatre, Hollywood Bowl, etc. With just having
one year in LA under my belt, I have been able to see some of my favorite artists and bands live for fairly cheap.
So far, I have seen the Backseat Lovers, Still Woozy, Wallows, the Neighborhood, and Tyler the Creator. USC even hosted my favorite artist, Dominic
Fike at Springfest last year. In the coming weeks, I am going to see Omar Apollo, which I am super excited for.
skiing & snowboarding
I have been going on trips with my family to ski since I was about 4 years old. I love the snow and cold weather, so ski week
is usually my favorite time of the year. I took up snowboarding about 6 years ago and although it was much harder to learn (which
could also be because I learned later in life), once I picked it up, I loved every second of it. In terms of comparison, skiing has
always come easier to me, but if I fall, it is definitely much easier to get back up when I'm snowboarding.
cooking & baking
My dad loves to cook and even after a long day of work, he would come home and cook a fantastic meal because that is how he destresses.
Growing up, my brother and I would always help out in the kitchen wherever we could. Later, we all got into a rhythm of my brother
helping out my dad with cooking dinner while I started on baking whatever dessert we were going to have that weekend. I formed my own
love for baking whether it was muffins, cakes, or cookies.
My dad loves making pizza from scratch and after a while, we started creating "dessert pizzas." In our dessert pizza, I would carmelize
some bananas and make whipped cream as he made the pizza dough and baked it. It was a delicious creation and my favorite dessert to date.
